Charles de Meaux founded Anna Sanders in 1998 with Pierre Huyghe, Philippe Parreno and the Association for the Diffusion of Contemporary Art and were later joined by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster. Anna Sanders is a collective of projects that hover between cinema and contemporary art. As a participant in the program, Charles de Meaux directed and produced several feature films and art pieces that contributed to the definition of an imaginary character named Anna Sanders.  His films and art pieces have been showned in Paris, London, Manchester, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Berlin, Geneva, Tokyo, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Bangkok, Warsaw, Busan, Seoul, Berlin, Beijing… and selected in the main film festivals like Cannes, Venise, Toronto, Edinburgh…
Charles de Meaux is also the director of the dvd collection Anna Sanders Films distributed by MK2.
